While the bottom is soft, and although they are very good in my opinion. No hard soles. The socks are cute. For a girl, I'd go with flowers rose. They are subject and corresponds with most of the clothes that my daughter was at that age. For a child I'd probably go with black and sneakers handsome diamonds or a dinosaur. We mostly used clothing that had been built in socks so the baby could not kick them off. And except for the shoes church as images or until starting to stand, and only if we went out and could come to pass by.
