How long do you use baby food jars? When did you start?

I have a month old and three have supplied about 120 bottles baby food for different variables, I bought on ebay. I have the opportunity to purchase 4 cases of the block 12-4 oz jars, bannanas, and peas, plus some 15 extras for 15 so I wonder if I should go for it or not. When did you start baby food, which is the first, and for how long they used to?

We started at 6 months and used jarred food for a couple of weeks and then started making the food myself. At 7 months we were introducing finger foods at 8 1/2-9 months he was out of bottled foods completely. With this I will probably jump in jar things and go straight to finger food (this is also called baby led weaning). Personally, if I were you, I would wait before buying more. You will not know if your baby has an allergy and some babies simply refuse all food machine mashed together. If the time comes when we need more who are not as expensive to buy in the store.
