Baby Development

Articles on the links between brain development and infant formula / food first?
I need a link to an article or a good website that explains why solids do not replace formula or breast milk during the first year. I need to explain the relationship between development and the first food. My husband is having a difficult time understanding and want to show that I'm not just making these things up. I have searched downtown baby but I need something with more detail. Thanks
Here is a link to "what are you waiting for solids?" in kellymom: We http://www.kellymom.com/nutrition/solids/delay-solids.html is a fairly full. There are several links at the bottom of the page and the references and information in support of WHO and other sources. You should be able to find something there. Good luck!
